Glühwein

Ingredients:
250ml Rooibos (strong)
1pc lemon
75ml sugar
1pc cinnamon stick
5ml ground cloves
500ml red wine
Take the lemon and peel the rind off in a single strip. Cut the remaining lemon into 5 slices and set aside.
Heat Rooibos and add the lemon rind, sugar, cinnamon stick and ground cloves. Maintain the heat until sugar dissolves.
Pour in red wine and bring to a boil.
Remove cinnamon stick and rind, taste for sweetness and add more sugar if necessary.
Pour into glasses and serve with a slice of lemon.
Makes 5 Glasses
